For many years the terminus of Die Selketalbahn, following of the closure of the Deutsche Bahn line from Quedlibugh
HSB laid track to on the old standard gauge trackbed Quedlinburgh where there is now a cross platform interchange
with the DB Halle - Leipzig line.
