controlled the access to Bentink Colliery. With the resignalling of the East Midlands the
Erewash Valley Line was resignalled in 2007 and Pinxton Signalbox and the connection
to Bentink Colliery was removed, the fringe box to the Derby Signalling Centre
becoming Kirkby Summit.
