The engine, one side, of the Snowblower.  The drive units are arranged like a Saxon  Meyer locomotive although the
articulation of the units was not obvious, also the cylinder sizes would suggest that they are simple not compound.

At the summit of the Bernina pass the Rhätische Bahn have an indoor turntable for turning snow ploughs.
On the 18th February 2008 the only steam propelled rotary snow plough Xrotd 9213 is turned.
